Locking doors securely is a must. This also applies to fire doors. Time and again, however, the door cylinders stick out a little, making it easy for burglars to gain entry. Secure your fire doors with a door thickness of 37 to 47 millimetres against forced entry. The MPA-approved door fitting for fire doors has a steel core in the handle and is also made of several layers of steel that can withstand a pull of 2.5 tonnes. Extra long steel cams and hardened and tempered special screws increase protection against impacts. A steel insert in the inner shield serves as tear-off protection.
